These are texmod skins so you'll need to use the DX9 hack above or:Launch the Registry Editor (open the Start Screen/Start Menu, type regedit, hit Enter).Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Crystal Dynamics\Tomb Raider\GraphicsModify RenderAPI value to 9.
So easy even a Gandalf can do it.

The skin is absent in some cut-scenes.
Set texture quality in advanced settings to normal.

    Hi Gandalf, I have some problems installing the mod.

    I renamed the original TombRaider.exe to zTombRaider.exe, renamed the tpf file to TombRaider.exe, and ran the game through Steam. A window pop up and disappeared. Then I renamed TombRaider.exe to xTombRaider, and zTombRaider.exe back to TombRaider.exe, and reopened the rar file and put the tpf file in the folder.

    So now I have TombRaider.exe, xTombRaider and the .tpf file in the TR Steam folder. I try running the game, there is no change. Everything remains the same. I tried to delete xTombRaider to start over but it says the program is being used. I can't even rename it. I downloaded the High textures file and set the graphics to High textures. I also did the dx9 hack as instructed. Nothing.

    I know for sure I misunderstood the instructions and did something wrong. Please help. And many thanks to you and xellos for bringing out some a great mod. Really want this to work :(

      You don't rename the tpf file you rename texmod.You put texmod in your folder and rename it to tombraider.

      BTW when you get the renaming right, texmod will launch and you will need to direct it to your original tombraider exe and load the tpf file in texmod too.

      i am downloading different versions of text mod and every time when i try to play tomb raider my antivirus rings alert ? what i am doing wrong ?

      Some antivirus will detect texmod as a trojan, that's a false positive well known of Texmod.
      Texmod does it's work in memory and so do a lot of viruses.To use it you have to allow it in your antivirus program.

    I cant get how to install i downloaded TRfull.7z there are:
    apc.tpf
    heliset4.tpf
    tr10.tpf
    TRset3.tpf
    What to do with it??? No read me or instuctions that i can see or i'm a noob?

      Readme?What you're NOT telepathic? ;P

      Those (tpf) are texmod files you load them all in texmod.Here's a texmod tutorial and you'll need to download (above)and apply the dx9 reg hack first.
